History
Around 1265, the archbishop of Mainz, Werner von Eppstein, had the Castrum Vivarium built here, which includes a stone tower with farm buildings, an animal garden, a kitchen garden and a fish pond.
The Aschaffenburg Golf Club, carriage rides, horseback riding, museums, castles, romantic old towns or "the inn in the Spessart" await you in the immediate vicinity.
